RootHub Management has indicated their readiness to hold the 2018 edition of StartConfest. The event is designed to strengthen Akwa Ibom’s reputation as the Startup Capital of Nigeria, due in part to the rising wave of Technology and entrepreneurial activities, the festival promises to provide inspiration to entrepreneurs, enthusiasts, students, Corporate Bodies, and the general public. According to the organizers and partners of #StartConFest, the festival promises to be the right mix of vital components needed to spur the entrepreneurial ecosystem growth of the Country as well as, showcase the youthful talent that abound in the State.
Participants are expected to exhibit their products during the event. “Over the course of the festival, you have the opportunity to meet startups from different fields, learn new things, get certified, catch up on trends around the world, access startup opportunities and contribute to the creativity and entrepreneurship eco-system,” Tony Onuk the co-founder of the Hub shared on his Facebook wall. The event is slated to hold between June 11 and June 15 this year. StartConFest has been a yearly program at the hub as the result of the event is usually felt directly by the Akwa Ibom eco-system.
